Application:
1. As chemical raw materials, acetone, hydrogen peroxide, methyl isobutyl ketone, diisobutyl ketone, isopropyl amine, isopropyl ether, isopropyl chloride, isopropyl fatty acid and isopropyl chlorinated fatty acid can be produced. In fine chemical industry, it can be used to produce isopropyl nitrate, isopropyl xanthate, triisopropyl phosphite, aluminum isopropoxide, medicines and pesticides, and also can be used to produce diisoacetone, isopropyl acetate, thymol and gasoline additives.
2. As a solvent, it is a relatively cheap solvent in industry, which has a wide range of uses, can be freely mixed with water, and has stronger solubility for lipophilic substances than ethanol. It can be used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, rubber, paint, shellac, alkaloids, etc., and can be used to produce paints, inks, extractants, aerosols, etc., and can also be used as antifreeze, cleaning agents, additives for blending gasoline, dispersants for pigment production, fixatives for printing and dyeing industries, glass and so on.
3. Determine barium, calcium, copper, magnesium, nickel, potassium, sodium, strontium, nitrous acid, cobalt, etc. as chromatographic analysis standards.
4. In the electronic industry, it can be used as cleaning and degreasing agent.
5. In the oil industry, the extractant of cottonseed oil can also be used for degreasing animal-derived tissue membranes.
